How a web design company ended up obsessed with SEO

DesireDiv started as a website company. We designed and built sites for shops, clinics, startups and manufacturers across Delhi NCR. More than 600 of them by now.

The problem showed up early. A client would be thrilled on launch day, then call two months later asking why nobody was finding them. The site looked great. It loaded fine. But it wasn't on Google for anything a customer would type. A beautiful website with no traffic is a brochure sitting in a drawer.

So I started learning SEO properly, testing on our own projects first, and then on client sites where the owners were willing to try. Some things worked quickly: a cleaned-up Google Business Profile, pages that matched what people searched, faster mobile load times. Other things took months to show anything, and a few did nothing at all. That trial and error is most of what I know today.

Now SEO is the work I care about most. I still like building websites, but I like it more when the phone rings afterwards.
